If you have many of these symptoms and would like to know more about this syndrome, see your family doctor or a rheumatologist for a complete evaluation.
We at Premier will perform a thorough functional evaluation and determine your exact needs and develop a treatment and exercise program that will work for you. We can also share with you a great deal of information. If regular exercises are too hard at first, we can get you into our Aquatic exercise program that will make it much easier for you to begin exercising.
If you are diagnosed with FMS, a Premier therapist can help you manage your symptoms and develop an exercise program that is right for your individual needs.
Exercise (especially aquatics at first) has been shown to be effective in reducing the symptoms of FMS and can help you live a very functional and productive life. However, everyone is different and requires various treatments and a customized exercise program to get the most effective results - usually this is accomplished in 6-8 visits.
